EUROREGION PYRENEES-MEDITERRANEAN: THE REGIONS OF OCCITANIA, CATALONIA AND THE BALEARIC ISLANDS TOGETHER IN BRUSSELS FOR THE COHESION OF THEIR TERRITORY
On Thursday 27 January 2022, a Euroregional delegation travelled to Brussels to present its actions and its new 2021-2030 roadmap to commissioners and senior representatives of the European institutions.
The members of the Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean (EPM): the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Occitania Region, which currently holds the Presidency, wish to use these meetings to reinforce the driving role of the Euroregion’s territorial cooperation structure, an example of the construction of a Europe of Regions. This trip is also an opportunity to announce the creation of a Euroregional Youth Parliament, as the Euroregion has made youth its priority for 2022.
