Projects supported in 2011



The project, Habitacio is a dance project that brings together compagnie Samuel Mathieu (MP), the project leader, the compagnie Mar Gomez (CAT) and Galerie Chorégraphique (LR).

The purpose of this initiative was to foster an exchange between two contemporary dance companies and an artistic production office. A laboratory for research and artistic creation was set up as well as an observatory to monitor the creative process. Finally, dance performances were created, then performed at the euroregional level.

The Euroregion provided a grant of 23 500€ for this eleven month project.

Bach +


The Bach + project is a performing arts project combining music and dance. The participating organizations were: l’Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse (MP), the project leader, ADDMD 11 (LR) and Fusic, la fundació Societat i Cultura (CAT).

The aim of the project was to give the public access to classical music in a different manner, in particular via the cultural heritage, multilingualism, cultural tourism and synergy with young non-professional musicians.

The project lasted 12 months. The Euroregion provided a grant of 15 000€.



Regio Marionnette


The project, Regio Marionnette, is a contemporary marionnette project. The participating organizations were : EQL / marionnettissimo (MP), the project leader, Arema (LR), the Titelles de Lleida center (CAT), and Til Teatre Elastic Nou (IB).

The aim of the project is to foster gatherings and cross-border exchanges of works of art, artists and audiences in the area of marionettes. Secondly, the aim was to give a cross border dimension to projects of participating organizations. Finally, the aim was to associate the public at all stages of the process via an international school of the spectator.

This project lasted 25 months and received a 45 000 euro grant from the Euroregion.

Scena Centro


The project, Scena Centro is a performing arts project aimed at young audiences. The participating audiences were : Phonomatic (MP), which was the project leader, BAO (LR), Sa Xerxa (IB) and Xarxa (CAT).

The aim of this project was to create a platform for the creation and promotion of performing arts aimed at youth audiences.

The project began in 2012 and lasted two years. The Euroregion provided 50 000 euros in financing.

Process( )s Pyrénées de Cirque


Le projet Process( )s Pyrénées de Cirque includes four entities : la Central del Circ (professional circus artists from Catalonia), the project leader, La Grainerie (MP), l’office de tourisme de Perpignan (LR) and l'association culturelle Animahu (AR).

The purpose of this project is to foster the creation and promotion of circus arts in the Pyrénées-Méditerranée euroregion via the circulation of artists and performances.

The project is to last for two and a half years and the Euroregion provided a grant of 40 000 euros.

VIA, Viatges d’Interes Artistic


The project, VIA (Viatges d’Interes Artistic) is a performing and visual arts project. It includes: the festival Escena Poblenou (CAT) project leader, the festival Label Rue (LR), le festival d’arts de carrer de Capdepera (IB) and l'association la Petite Pierre (MP).

The aim of the project is to foster the circulation of performing and visual arts companies in the Euroregion territory.

This is an eighteen month long project

Recursos Musicals en Llengua Catalana


The project, Recursos Musicals en Llengua Catalana is a musical project bringing together, Grup Enderrock Edicions S.L (CAT), the project leader, l’associació de Músics per la Llengua (IB) and Col.lectiu Joan Pau-Giné.

The purpose of the project is to create a database on Catalan music from the 21st century as well as to create musical products to export Catalan culture.

The project is set to last for one year. The Euroregion provided an 18 000 euro grant.
